Gastroenterology and Hepatology is a branch of medicine which deals with the disorders of digestive system (esophagus, stomach, small and large intestines, pancreas and gall bladder) and liver diseases.

Gastroscopy
It is an imaging method that allows the examination of the esophagus, stomach and duodena by means of a device called an endoscope, which has a thin, long, soft, twistable and lighted camera system.
Colonoscopy
It is an imaging method that allows the examination of the small and large bowels (Terminal Ileum) by means of a device called an endoscope, which has a thin, long, soft, twistable and lighted camera system.
Duodenoscopy
It is an imagining method that images the lateral digestive system and evaluates the ampulla area where the bile ducts are opened to the duodenum by means of a device called duodenoscope which has a soft, twistable and lighted camera system.
